Job summary

Goodwill Industries Of Central Florida is seeking an Entry Level worker for The Hub Taft in Orlando, FL. This full-time role involves processing donations, sorting items, pricing select goods, and maintaining a clean processing area.

The position requires reliable teamwork, ability to lift up to 40 pounds regularly, and following safety procedures. Prior retail or stock handling experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of donations as related to quality and classification.
• Knowledge of retail and/or stock handling.
• Ability to listen and follow directions.

Responsibilities

• Sort donations as they arrive into proper carts or bins and make proper determination as to the quality of donations; sort and box identified recyclable items.
• Price goods in special circumstances.
• Operate designated machinery in processing area.
• Keep production area clean and safe and other store areas as directed.
• Comply with the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) and procedures for Public Protection.
• Maintain well groomed appearance and appropriate dress code including name badge.
