Job summary

Goodwill Industries Of Central Florida is seeking an entry-level Store Associate in Eustis, FL. You will greet donors and customers, process donations, issue receipts, and help move items to stock areas.

Prior retail or stock handling experience is preferred; basic computer skills and a barcode scanner are expected. You will sort donations, price wares, and maintain cleanliness across the stockroom and production areas.

Qualifications

• Retail and stock handling experience preferred.
• Ability to greet customers and provide courteous service.
• Basic computer skills and barcode scanner usage.

Responsibilities

• Greet each customer with a courteous, friendly and professional attitude; provide prompt, efficient, and accurate customer service at all times.
• Receive donations from donors and issue donation receipts; assist customers with lifting items in and out of their vehicles.
• Sort donations as they arrive into proper carts or bins and determine donation quality.
• Sort and price hard goods (wares).
• Keep production area clean and safe and other store areas as directed.
• Maintain a well-groomed appearance and dress code including name badge and vest.
• Provide general information to customers/donors.
• Assist processors when needed.
• Follow CPSC procedures and Public Protection Guidelines.
• React calmly and respond to emergency situations.
• Refer all customer/donor complaints to management promptly.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the General Manager.
