Job summary

Goodwill Industries Of Dallas in Rockwall, TX is seeking an entry-level Donation Attendant. Under the direction of team leaders, you will greet customers and donors, process donations, issue receipts, and help move items from vehicles.

You will sort donations, price goods, maintain a clean stockroom, and support other store duties. A courteous attitude, reliable English communication, and the ability to stand for long periods are essential.

Qualifications

• Greet and assist customers with a courteous attitude.
• Receive donations and issue receipts for articles donated.
• Sort donations as they arrive into proper carts or bins and assess quality.
• Sort and price hard goods.
• Keep the production area clean and safe.
• Read, write, speak and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Greet each customer with a courteous, friendly and professional attitude; provide prompt, efficient, and accurate customer service at all times.
• Politely and professionally receive donations from donors and issue donation receipts for articles donated; assist customers with lifting items in and out of their vehicles.
• Sort donations as they arrive into proper carts or bins and make proper determination as to the quality of donations.
• Sort and price hard goods (miscell).
• Keep the production area clean and safe and other store areas as directed.
• Maintain a well-groomed appearance and appropriate dress code including name badge and vest.
