Job summary

Goodwill of Greater Washington is seeking a supervisory leader to coordinate Donation Express operations across brick-and-mortar and mobile sites. You will ensure smooth donations, provide excellent donor service, and support safety, training, and staff development.

The role requires strong customer service, basic computer skills, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Weekend and holiday work is required to meet business needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 6+ months supervisory experience or TRAc program.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
• Ability to perform basic math.
• Ability to read and comprehend internal store operation documents.
• Ability to perform prolonged walking, standing, bending and lifting up to 40–50 lbs.
• Valid driver’s license and DOT certification may be required.

Responsibilities

• Supports the Donation Express Manager in brick-and-mortar and/or Mobile Donation Express site operations.
• Communicates professionally via email, oral, and written.
• Monitors and ensures a smooth donation process.
• Greet donors, issue receipts, sort and process donated items.
• Assist in enforcing Donation Express safety and security procedures.
• Assist in interviews, training, and staff development.
• Works weekends and holidays as required.
