Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Middle Tennessee, Inc. is looking for a Donation Express Attendant to support daily donation intake at the Jackson site. You will assist donors, issue receipts, and help sort and secure donations with care and hospitality.

Responsibilities include opening/closing shifts, documenting donations, and keeping the DEC area tidy and safe. Prior customer service experience is preferred, and physical ability is required.

Qualifications

• One year of experience working with the public.
• Must be able to lift/carry over 50 lbs.
• Must be able to push/pull loads over 50 lbs.
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic addition for paper work.
• Must present a neat, professional image for Goodwill.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly donor assistance and issue receipts.
• Open and close the donation center as scheduled.
• Sort and secure donated items per policy.
• Record donations and complete daily donation summaries.
• Communicate donation center activity daily.
• Maintain a clean and safe DEC site and surroundings.
• Attend mandatory DEC meetings and communicate needs to supervisors.
• Distribute informational materials about Goodwill as directed.
