Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Middle Tennessee, Inc. at the Opportunity Campus is seeking a Donation Express Attendant to ensure the most consistent daily intake of donations. You will welcome donors, provide receipts, and handle donations with care, reflecting Goodwill's hospitality.

You will sort and secure donations, maintain a clean center area, and coordinate with staff to meet daily goals while representing Goodwill to the campus community.

Qualifications

• One (1) year of experience working with the public is desired.

Responsibilities

• Exhibit hospitality and a high level of customer service awareness when greeting donors and providing receipts.
• Be prompt and consistent in attendance.
• Open and close the site on schedule.
• Decline donations following policy for non-acceptable items.
• Sort and secure donations as designated by management.
• Record all donations and assist with daily donation summaries.
• Communicate donation center activity by calling donor counts every work day.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment around the DEC site.
