Job summary

New England Donor Services is seeking an Organ Donation Coordinator (ICU RN or Respiratory Therapist) to join our team in Lowell, MA. You will respond on-site to donor referrals, provide clinical expertise in donor evaluation and management, and support organ allocation and recovery.

The role involves educating hospital staff and collaborating with multiple surgical teams and critical care staff to optimize organs for transplantation.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years clinical/critical care experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred; CPTC Certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Educate hospital staff on the donation process and consent with families.
• Work with multiple surgical teams and critical care staff to optimize organs for transplantation.
• Respond on-site to donor referrals to provide clinical expertise in donor evaluation and management.
• Coordinate organ allocation and organ recovery activities across New England.
• Travel as required for off-site donor evaluations and follow-ups.
