Job summary

New England Donor Services (NEDS) seeks experienced ICU/Critical Care RN, Trauma Nurse, or Critical Care Respiratory Therapist to join as a Donation Coordinator. You will respond on-site to organ donor referrals to provide clinical expertise in donor evaluation, management, organ allocation and recovery.

The role requires strong clinical assessment skills, ability to stay calm in high-pressure situations, and significant travel across New England with mileage reimbursement.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years clinical experience in critical care/ICU/trauma settings.
• CPTC Certification a plus.
• Must have valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Educate hospital staff on the donation process and consent.
• Coordinate donor evaluation, management, and organ recovery.
• Travel within New England to partner hospitals as required.
• Respond on-site to donor referrals with clinical expertise.
