Job summary

New England Donor Services is seeking an experienced ICU RN, Critical Care RN, Trauma Nurse or Critical Care Respiratory Therapist to join our team as a Donation Coordinator. You will respond on-site to organ donor referrals, applying your clinical expertise in donor evaluation, management and organ recovery.

The role requires travel across New England, collaboration with hospital staff and multiple surgical teams, and the ability to educate staff and families about the donation process.

Qualifications

• Excellent clinical assessment skills and critical thinking.
• Compassionate with conflict resolution abilities.
• Able to sit, stand or bend for extended periods.
• Willingness to travel across New England and to Waltham HQ.

Responsibilities

• Respond on-site to organ donor referrals and provide clinical expertise in donor evaluation and management.
• Educate hospital staff on the donation process and obtain donor consent.
• Coordinate with surgical teams for organ allocation and recovery.
• Travel within New England and to Waltham HQ for orientation and duties.
