Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Central Florida is seeking a donation processor to greet donors and customers, receive donations, issue receipts, and assist with lifting items.

You will sort donations, price wares, maintain the stockroom, and keep production areas clean and orderly. Regularly lift up to 40 pounds and occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance; stand and walk for long periods and follow safety guidelines. This role supports store operations and customer service objectives.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail and stock handling preferred.
• Ability to listen and follow directions.
• Customer service oriented with courteous attitude.
• Knowledge of garment classification (garments, shirts, pants).

Responsibilities

• Greet each customer and donor with a friendly, professional attitude; provide prompt, efficient service.
• Receive donations and issue receipts; assist with lifting items in/out of vehicles.
• Sort donations into carts/bins and determine quality; sort and price hard goods.
• Keep production area and stockroom clean and organized; adhere to safety guidelines.
