Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Central Florida is seeking a retail/donations associate to warmly greet donors, process donations, and maintain a clean sales floor. You will rotate stock, label and shelve textile items, and assist customers with directions and information.

Requirements include a high school education or equivalent, prior retail experience preferred, and basic computer skills. The role requires lifting up to 100 pounds occasionally and standing for long periods while following safety

Qualifications

• High School education or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous retail experience is highly preferred.
• Basic computer skills for looking up information and processing receipts.

Responsibilities

• Receive and process donations from donors and issue receipts.
• Rotate stock and place merchandise on sales floor in accordance with policies.
• Sort, box and label hangers by type and organize textile racks.
• Greet customers and provide prompt, courteous service; direct them as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety on the sales floor and production area.
