Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Central Florida is seeking a team member to process donations, sort and stock merchandise, and assist customers on the sales floor. Responsibilities include receiving donations, issuing receipts, stocking and labeling hangers, and maintaining a clean, safe shop environment.

The role emphasizes friendly, professional donor and customer service, adherence to procedures, and alertness to potential security issues. Prior retail exposure is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive donations politely and issue donation receipts.
• Rotate stock and bring stock to the sales floor promptly.
• Place merchandise on textile racks and shelves per policy.
• Sort, box and label hangers by type.
• Greet customers and offer courteous, professional help.
• Direct customers to proper areas and provide information.
• Monitor for shoplifting and report suspicious activity.
• Maintain clean and safe sales floor and production areas.
• Follow safety procedures and dress code requirements.
