Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Central Florida is hiring a Donation Xpress Attendant for a full-time role. You will provide excellent customer service to donors and issue receipts for donated items.

You will also help sort donations and assist with loading items for transport, ensuring safety and adherence to policy. Ideal candidates are 18+ with retail or stock handling experience and the ability to lift up to 40 pounds (100 pounds with assistance).

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Previous retail and/or stock handling experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds independently and up to 100 pounds with assistance.
• Standing or walking for long periods; ability to bend, stoop, and crouch.

Responsibilities

• Opening and closing the donation center.
• Greeting donors with a courteous, friendly, professional attitude.
• Issuing donation receipts regardless of size or number of items.
• Assisting donors with lifting items in and out of vehicles.
• Sorting donations according to GICF policies and procedures.
• Adhering to safety and cleanliness standards; assisting in loading donations as needed.
