Goodwill Industries of Central Florida in Kissimmee, FL, is seeking an entry-level Donation Processor to greet donors and process donations, issuing receipts and assisting with lifting items. You will sort donations, price goods, and keep the stockroom organized in a collaborative retail environment.

The role requires basic computer skills, the ability to lift up to 40 pounds, and a customer-service mindset. Prior retail or stock handling experience is preferred. Training provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service or retail is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and handle items safely.
• Strong listening and ability to follow directions.
• Good communication and teamwork.
• Knowledge of textile articles related to garment classification (gowns, shirts, pants) is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Greet each customer with a courteous, friendly and professional attitude; provide prompt, efficient, and accurate customer service at all times.
• Receive donations from donors and issue donation receipts for articles donated; assist customers with lifting items in and out of their vehicles.
• Sort donations as they arrive into proper carts or bins and determine the quality of donations.
• Sort and price hard goods (wares).
• Keep production area clean and safe and other store areas as directed.
• Maintain well groomed appearance and appropriate dress code including name badge and vest.
