MERS Missouri Goodwill Industries is hiring a Retail Donation Attendant for the Lake St Louis Store - Robert Raymond. This hourly full-time role pays a rate of $15.50 per hour with a monthly bonus up to $250 and full-time benefits for eligible employees.

Responsibilities include welcoming donors, processing donations, sorting items, and maintaining store cleanliness and safety. Join a mission-driven team focused on community impact and professional development.

Qualifications

• No degree is required; High School Diploma/GED preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers, customers, and management.
• Must be organized and capable of interacting with a diverse work population.
• Necessary math skills include addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.

Responsibilities

• Provide positive customer service interactions, including greetings and assisting donors with their donation drop off.
• Handles all donations with care and respect.
• Sort donated goods into categories: sales floor, seasonal, online, outlet, and trash.
• Notifies management of hazardous, valuable, or inappropriate merchandise.
• Maintains high quality and quantity standards while working quickly and steadily.
• Stocks, straighten, rotate, and maintain cleanliness of store area.
• Upholds store cleanliness standards by sweeping, dusting, mopping, and shining surfaces.
• Maintains professional relationships with team members and leadership.
• Follows safe work practices and keeps aisles debris-free.
• Adheres to dress code and safeguards assets from harm.
• All other duties as assigned.
