Job summary

MERS/Missouri Goodwill Industries in Glen Carbon is seeking an energetic Retail Donation Attendant to greet donors, assist with drop-offs, and thank supporters. You will handle donations with care, sort goods, and help keep the store clean and organized for customers.

Qualifications

• No degree required; HS diploma/GED preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers, customers, and management.
• Must be organized and able to interact with a diverse work population.
• Math skills include addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.

Responsibilities

• Provide positive customer service interactions with donors and acknowledge donations.
• Handle donations with care and respect, sorting into categories (sales floor, seasonal, online, etc.).
• Notify management of hazardous or inappropriate merchandise.
• Maintain store cleanliness and organized stock, and support cross-functional teamwork.
• Uphold safety and security regulations and dress code.
