Job summary

Goodwill in Hollybrook, NJ is seeking a Donor Services Associate to welcome donors, process donations, and maintain a clean, organized donation center. You will greet donors, assist with loading, label items for resale, and ensure safety protocols are followed throughout the shift.

The role requires strong customer service, reliability, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Training will cover barcoding, processing, and safety procedures, with opportunities for growth within store

Qualifications

• Must follow Goodwill policies and safety procedures.
• Accepts all donations from customers and provides a positive customer experience.
• Must wear PPE and dress code at all times.
• Keep donations area clean and organized.
• Greet every donor and acknowledge those waiting.
• Assist with loading/furnishing donations as needed.
• Assist with waivers and sale tickets for furniture.
• Parameters normalized and maintained.

Responsibilities

• Accept donations from customers and ensure a positive customer experience.
• Label outgoing gaylords correctly and maintain organization of the production area.
• Sort donations into correct categories as directed and maintain clean workspaces.
• Assist customers with loading furniture or other items.
• Present and obtain customer signature on waivers for furniture purchases.
• Assist with sale tickets and signage for large items.
• Load/unload merchandise from trucks or trailers.
• Operate pallet jack and forklift safely; perform daily safety inspections.
• Report injuries promptly and follow safety rules at all times.
• Maintain neat appearance and wear company uniform; ensure regular attendance.
