Job summary

Goodwill of Central & Northern Arizona in Scottsdale, AZ is seeking a Donation Associate to receive donations, sort merchandise, and maintain an organized donation center. The role involves assisting customers, labeling items, and operating equipment in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include helping load/unload items, ensuring safety, and supporting efficient donation center operations while upholding Goodwill values and community service.

Qualifications

• High School education or equivalent.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to be trained and take direction.
• Ability to speak and read English proficiently.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen, where applicable for position.

Responsibilities

• Receives all donations in an expedient, courteous manner and places items in the appropriate place.
• Operates company owned equipment.
• Sorts incoming donations based on general type of merchandise and labels all gaylords correctly.
• Creates manifest for shipping and transport of outgoing gaylords including trucks and trailers.
• Safeguards company property and reports incidents of theft, misappropriation or unauthorized possession.
