Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Central Florida is seeking a Donation Xpress Attendant in Indialantic, FL. You will provide excellent customer service, receive donated items, issue receipts, and assist donors with loading items for transport.

The role requires standing for long periods and lifting up to 40 pounds, with potential up to 100 pounds with assistance. The position offers an hourly wage of $18.00, with opportunities to support daily operations and maintain a welcoming donation center

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Previous retail and/or stock handling experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Opening and closing the donation center.
• Greeting each donor with a courteous, friendly, and professional attitude.
• Respectfully receiving donations while issuing donation receipts, regardless of donation size or the number of articles.
• Assisting donors with lifting items in and out of their vehicles.
• Sorting donations in accordance with all guidelines and procedures.
• Adhering to all safety and cleanliness standards as directed.
• Assisting in loading GICF trucks with donated items as needed.
