Job summary

The Salvation Army USA Western Territory is seeking a Donation Attendant for our Kailua thrift-store location. You will help maintain the donation area, assist donors with receipts, and support the loading of donations onto trucks. Strong attention to detail and reliable teamwork are essential.

Full-time schedules and benefits include PTO, discounts, and medical coverage. The role requires a high school diploma and the ability to pass a background check.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must pass background check including Criminal History and Sex Offender Registry.
• Ability to read, write and follow instructions.
• Ability to communicate effectively with management, staff, customers, and donors.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and clean the Donation trailer/pod area at start and end of shift.
• Assist donors in receiving donated items and provide receipts.
• Maintain reports and paperwork as instructed by Supervisor.
• Sort donated materials into proper containers and stack as directed.
• Assist TSA PA/Drivers with loading donations onto trucks as needed.
• Notify supervisor when items or supplies are needed.
• Secure and lock Donation trailer/pod after each shift.
