Job summary

The Salvation Army USA Western Territory is seeking a full‑time Donation Attendant to support our Kailua thrift store operations. You will maintain the donation trailer area, assist donors with receipts, and help load donations for transport, while keeping accurate reports and coordinating with the supervisor.

Flexibility is required for a seven‑day operation; must pass a background check and have a high school diploma. Benefits include PTO, discounts, and retirement plan.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must pass background check, including Criminal History and Sex Offender Registry.
• Ability to read and write and to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to communicate effectively with management, fellow employees, customers and donors.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and clean the Donation trailer/pod area at start and end of shift.
• Assist donors in receiving donated items and provide receipts.
• Maintain reports and paperwork as instructed by Supervisor.
• Sort and containerize donations properly and stack material as directed by Supervisor.
• Assist TSA PA/Drivers with loading donations onto trucks as needed.
• Inform supervisor of needed items before running out.
• Secure and lock Donation trailer/pod at end of shift.
