The Salvation Army USA Western Territory in Kailua is seeking a Donation Attendant to support the thrift store and Adult Rehabilitation Program. You will help donors receive receipts, manage donation areas, and assist with loading donations onto trucks, contributing to a positive donor experience.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, ability to read/write and follow instructions, and a focus on teamwork.

Formación

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must pass background check, including Criminal History and Sex Offender Registry.
• Ability to read and write and to understand and follow both written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to communicate effectively with management, fellow store employees, customers, and donors.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain and clean the Donation trailer/pod area at the start and end of each shift.
• Assist donors in receiving donated items and provide receipts.
• Maintain all reports and paperwork as instructed by Supervisor.
• Sort donated material into proper containers and stack materials as directed.
• Assist TSA PA/Drivers with loading donations onto trucks as needed.
• Inform supervisor of items needed before running out (e.g., brooms, receipts, totes).
• Secure and lock the Donation trailer/pod at shift end.
