The Salvation Army USA Western Territory is seeking a dedicated Donation Attendant at our Kailua Thrift Store to support the Adult Rehabilitation Program and deliver a positive donor experience. This on-site role involves keeping donation areas tidy, assisting donors, and helping load merchandise for transport.

You will contribute to smooth store operations, maintain records, and work with management to ensure great customer service while promoting the program’s mission.

Formación

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must pass background check, which will include Criminal History and Sex Offender Registry.
• Ability to read and write and to understand and follow both written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to communicate effectively with management, fellow store employees, customers, and donors.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain and clean donation trailer/pod area at the beginning and end of each shift.
• Assist the donor in the receipt of donated items from the donor and provide receipt.
• Maintain all reports and paperwork as instructed by Supervisor.
• Separate and sort all donated material into the proper containers, and properly stack material as instructed by the Supervisor.
• Assist TSA PA/Drivers with loading donations onto trucks as necessary.
• Inform the supervisor of needed items prior to running out (i.e.: brooms, receipts, totes, carts, etc.).
• Securing and locking Donation trailer/pod at the end of each shift.
