Job summary

The Salvation Army Kailua Store is seeking a Donation Attendant to support the Kailua thrift store team. You will manage the donation area, assist donors, record receipts, and help with sorting and stocking donated items.

This full-time role offers $17 per hour, with a schedule that accommodates seven days a week operations. Benefits include PTO, discounts, retirement plan, and other employee programs.

Qualifications

• High School diploma is required.
• Background check including criminal history and sex offender registry.
• Ability to read, write and follow written and verbal instructions.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining and cleaning up the donation area at the beginning and end of each shift.
• Assisting the donor in the receipt of donated items and provide receipt.
• Maintaining all reports and paperwork as instructed by Supervisor.
• Separating and sorting all donated material into proper containers and stacking as instructed.
• Assisting TSA PA/Drivers with loading donations onto trucks as necessary.
• Informing the supervisor of needed items prior to running out.
• Securing and locking Donation trailer/pod at the end of each shift.
