Job summary

Goodwill of the San Francisco Bay is seeking a Store Team Associate to provide an excellent customer and brand experience while promoting sales. You will receive donations, label items, issue receipts, and help customers load and unload furniture and other merchandise.

The role requires strong customer service, ability to pass forklift training, and reliable attendance. The position offers full-time hours and a supportive environment focused on community impact.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to pass a forklift certification class
• Ability to speak and read English proficiently

Responsibilities

• Accepts donations from customers and provides outstanding service
• Labels Gaylords and prints receipts for donors
• Ensures a receipt is offered to each donor
• Inquires about hazardous donations and directs proper disposal
• Writes up sales tickets and signs for furniture and large items
• Assists customers with loading/unloading items
• Maintains merchandise placement and production room organization
• Operates pallet jack and walkie stacker safely
• Performs daily safety inspections of equipment
• Cross-trains in other store roles as needed
• Maintains consistent in-person attendance
