Job summary

Goodwill of the San Francisco Bay is seeking a dedicated team member at our Daly City store to lead a strong customer and brand experience while promoting sales. You will receive donations promptly, label items, issue receipts, and assist shoppers with loading, maintaining organization, and safety compliance.

The role requires excellent customer service, ability to pass a forklift certification, and basic English proficiency.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to pass a forklift certification class.
• Ability to speak and read English proficiently.
• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen, where applicable for position.

Responsibilities

• Accept donations from customers with outstanding service.
• Label Gaylords correctly.
• Provide a donation receipt for every donor.
• Inquire about hazardous donations and direct proper disposal.
• Write up sales tickets and signs for larger items.
• Assist customers with loading/unloading merchandise.
• Maintain merchandise placement and production room organization.
• Assist in loading/unloading onto trucks or trailers as needed.
• Operate pallet jack and walkie stacker safely.
• Perform daily safety inspections on equipment.
• Follow safety rules and wear required PPE.
• Provide floor care in the store as needed.
• Cross-train in other store positions as needed.
• Maintain regular in-person attendance.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
