Job summary

Goodwill of the San Francisco Bay is seeking an on-site team member to lead a positive customer experience and promote sales. You will receive donations, label items, issue receipts, and assist customers with loading and unloading furniture while maintaining organization and safety standards.

The role requires forklift certification eligibility, strong English reading/speaking skills, and the ability to pass background checks.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to pass forklift certification.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must pass a background check and drug screen, where applicable.
• Ability to read and speak English proficiently.

Responsibilities

• Accept donations from customers and direct items to correct locations.
• Label Gaylords and ensure receipts are offered to each donor.
• Assist customers with loading and unloading furniture or large items.
• Safely operate pallet jack and walkie stacker.
• Maintain merchandise placement and production room organization per standards.
• Cross-train in other store positions as needed.
