Job summary

Goodwill of North Georgia is seeking an entry-level donation processor to join our Marietta store team. You will examine and grade donated goods to support resale and assist guests in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities include accurately sorting items, processing donations, providing receipts, maintaining cleanliness and collaborating with management to meet performance goals as part of our mission to help local job seekers.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 1+ years of production experience preferred.
• Must be 18 years or older to operate forklift.
• Clear English communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic math and reading skills required.

Responsibilities

• Always display a professional, patient, and “people first” attitude with guests.
• Provide a donation receipt to each guest at the time of donating.
• Adequately handle guest questions and resolve problems by following procedures.
• Properly sort donations into designated categories.
• Maintain a neat, clean and organized donor area and assist with loading/unloading donations.
