Job summary

MERS/Missouri Goodwill Industries is hiring a Retail Donation Attendant at the OFallon Store - Market Center. This hourly full-time position supports donation processing, customer service, and store operations. You will help donors, maintain inventory, and uphold safety and cleanliness standards while serving the community.

Qualifications

• No degree required; HS diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers and coworkers.
• Must be organized and able to interact with a diverse team.

Responsibilities

• Provide positive customer service, greet donors, assist with donation drop-offs, and acknowledge donations.
• Handle donations with care and ensure proper processing of items.
• Sort donations into categories: sales floor, seasonal, online, outlet, trash.
• Notify management of hazardous or inappropriate items.
• Maintain store cleanliness and stock, rotate stock, and keep aisles clear.
• Uphold professional appearance and dress code; maintain safety and asset integrity.
• Support cross-functional communication and teamwork with other store teams.
• Follow safety policies and report incidents of theft or loss.
• Offer monthly bonus information and participate in available benefits.
