Job summary

MERS/Missouri Goodwill Industries is seeking a friendly Retail Donation Attendant for our Blue Springs store. This hourly, full-time position offers $15.50 per hour and a monthly bonus up to $250, with benefits after eligibility.

You will greet donors, assist with drop-offs, sort donations, maintain store cleanliness, and support team operations while delivering excellent customer service. No degree required; HS diploma preferred.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers, customers, and management.
• Must be organized and capable of interacting with a diverse work population.
• Math skills: addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.

Responsibilities

• Provide positive customer service interactions, including greetings and assisting donors with drop-offs.
• Handle donations with care and respect.
• Sort donated and purchased goods into categories (sales floor, seasonal, online, outlet, trash).
• Notify management of hazardous or inappropriate items.
