Job summary

Ohio Valley Goodwill Industries is seeking a Retail Donation Attendant for Mt. Washington in Cincinnati, OH. You will greet donors, receive donations, issue receipts, and prep items for production while maintaining a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

Flexibility is required to support store opening, production, and closing operations, including weekends and holidays. Prior customer service experience and ability to lift up to 35 pounds are valued for this role.

Qualifications

• Six months of previous work experience preferred.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Ability to understand English and interact with customers.
• Ability to communicate verbally with associates and customers.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting and standing for extended periods.
• Ability to lift 35 pounds frequently.
• Willingness to be trained on pallet jack.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors and provide excellent customer service.
• Receive donations and issue receipts.
• Sort donated items into designated categories.
• Prepare donations for production processing and expedite merchandise.
• Comply with safety and security practices and report hazards.
• Maintain professional appearance and uniform standards.
• Follow store policies and scheduling as directed.
• Assist truck drivers with loading/unloading donations.
