Job summary

Goodwill of Central and Coastal Virginia in Midlothian, VA is seeking a Full Time Associate to assist customers with donated goods and to perform pre-sorting of donations. Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred. Will consider a combination of education and work experience.
• No professional certifications are required for this position.
• The associate is not required to drive as part of their job duties.
• The associate will be required to pass a criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, efficient, and courteous service to all customers.
• Assist customers with donations by greeting donors and helping unload their vehicle.
• Accurately presort donations by category and label donations accordingly.
• Safely load trailers and maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Ensure security of company assets and report suspected theft or security issues.
• Adhere to department policies and communicate issues to the supervisor.
• Follow dress code and personal hygiene standards.
• Exercise sound judgment in interactions with customers and Goodwill.
