Job summary

Goodwill of Central and Coastal Virginia is seeking a part-time team member to assist customers with donated goods, presort donations, and help load trailers. You will maintain a safe, clean work environment and support store operations in Chesterfield, VA.

The role requires excellent customer service, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and willingness to work evenings/weekends. Background check is required; no driving duties are mandatory.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred; combination of education and work experience considered.
• No previous experience required.
• No professional certifications required for this position.
• Criminal background check required.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, efficient, and courteous service to all customers, internal and external.
• Assist donors by greeting them and helping unload their vehicle without damage.
• Presort donations by category and label accordingly.
• Safely load trailers and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
• Adhere to department policies and report issues to supervisor.
• Represent Goodwill with appropriate dress and personal hygiene.
