Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Monocacy Valley, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Associate in Frederick, MD to process donated merchandise and prep for sale. You will inspect items, sort by category, and safeguard goods to support efficient operations.

Role may cross-train as Retail Sales Associate or Forklift Operator. Candidates must follow safety rules, pass background checks, and maintain reliable attendance to help empower communities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Ability to be trained and take direction.
• Ability to speak and read English proficiently.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Meets minimum quota set for assigned department.
• Inspects donated merchandise, analyzing quality and determining proper category.
• Safeguards company property, including donated goods.
• Reports incidents of theft or misappropriation or unauthorized possession of company property.
• May be cross-trained to work as a Retail Sales Associate and/or Forklift Operator.
• Receives and processes merchandise.
• Maintains workstation in an organized and safe manner.
• Keeps environment clean and safe per policy.
• Follows all safety rules and uses required safety equipment.
• Reports unsafe conditions promptly.
• Maintains regular in-person attendance.
• Models Goodwill Core Values: Trust, Collaboration, Engagement, Ownership, Innovation.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
