Job summary

Goodwill Keystone Area is seeking a Sales Associate to deliver excellent customer service in the donated goods retail department. You will greet customers, assist with purchases, operate the cash register, and maintain an attractive sales floor.

This role requires the ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends, with emphasis on accurate transactions, product presentation, and representing the organization’s mission in a positive manner.

Qualifications

• No formal education necessary.
• POS experience preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older to meet state child labor law requirements and schedule needs.

Responsibilities

• Greets, assists customers and answers telephone in a positive and professional manner.
• Operates cash register and credit/debit transactions with accuracy and according to policies.
• Organizes, color coordinates and rotates merchandise on the sales floor for an attractive layout.
• Promotes and represents Goodwill Keystone Area and its mission.
• Participates in organizational programs and special events.
• Supports additional tasks and projects as needed.
• Maintains workplace safety and follows safety requirements.
• Communicates progress and concerns to the Customer Service Manager.
