Job summary

Goodwill Goshen is seeking a Donated Goods Manager to support store leadership in merchandise processing, policies, and operations. You will supervise staff, ensure accurate inventory, and maintain a safe, customer-focused environment.

The role reports to the Store Manager and involves training, scheduling, reviewing sales and payroll, preventing theft, and implementing action plans with district leadership. Willingness to travel locally and pass background checks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, or ability to obtain via The Excel Center.
• Minimum of two years of supervisory experience.
• Strong leadership and team management with accountability.
• Excellent communication, verbal and written, with staff and customers.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, hire, train and manage staff while enforcing policies.
• Oversee day-to-day store operations and workflow across departments.
• Review store sales, payroll and expenses to meet financial goals.
• Maintain safe, secure work environment and deter theft.
• Communicate issues to Store Manager and District Manager with action plans.
• Other duties as assigned.
