Job summary

Goodwill-Industries-of-SAN-Joaquin is seeking a Donated Goods Supervisor to supervise location staff, coach on safety, and uphold merchandising standards. The role supports daily sales and inventory control while ensuring secure handling of donated goods from receipt to distribution.

The Supervisor will lead by example, enforce schedules and agency policies, train entry-level staff, and assist with reports and coverage across locations as needed.

Qualifications

• Requires ability to plan, prioritize, lead and motivate staff to achieve outcomes.
• Demonstrates strong customer service and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to train staff and enforce safety and security practices.

Responsibilities

• Coach, train and supervise location personnel in line with agency policies.
• Ensure a safe working environment and correct unsafe conditions.
• Assist in achieving daily sales, merchandising and cycle count goals.
• Maintain records, reports and required forms timely and accurate.
• Handle customer/donor complaints fairly and professionally.
• Assist with coverage for different locations as needed.
