Goodwill of North Georgia is seeking a team member to thoroughly examine and grade donated goods for sale at our retail stores. In a fast-paced environment, you will process goods to meet daily production goals while following our standard operating procedures.

The role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and a strong customer-focused culture. Eligible applicants should have a High School Diploma or GED and be able to lift up to 30 lbs as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Must have good oral and written communication skills in English and interpersonal skills.
• Detail oriented with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to demonstrate sound judgement.
• Must be 18 years or older to operate a forklift (16–17 not allowed).

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly examine and grade donated goods.
• Effectively process goods to meet daily production goals.
• Pivot to multiple work areas to support daily production goals.
• Identify and quickly solve problems and/or seek management support.
• Effectively communicate with management and other team members.
• Promote and demonstrate cooperation and teamwork with peers.
• Follow training playbooks, e-learning, and work instructions.
• Maintain a neat, clean, and organized work area at all times.
