Job summary

Goodwill of North Georgia is hiring a team member to thoroughly examine and grade donated goods to stock our retail stores. You will process items quickly and follow SOPs in a fast-paced environment, contributing to our mission to put people to work.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, strong English communication, and the ability to work independently or with a team. Weekly pay, benefits, and training are provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Must have good oral and written communication skills in English.
• Detail oriented with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to work independently as well as in a team.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to demonstrate sound judgement.
• Must be 18 years or older to become certified and licensed to operate a forklift.

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly examine and grade donated goods.
• Effectively process goods to meet daily production goals.
• Pivot to multiple work areas to support daily production goals.
• Identify and quickly solve problems and/or seek management support.
• Effectively communicate with management and other team members; promote cooperation and teamwork.
• Maintain a neat, clean, and organized work area; adhere to safety practices.
• Attend and complete all required trainings and meetings.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
