Job summary

Goodwill of North Georgia is seeking a team member to thoroughly examine and grade donated goods for sale in our Retail stores. This role processes items quickly to meet daily production goals, while flexing between multiple work areas and maintaining a safe, organized workspace.

Strong communication, teamwork, and accuracy are essential in a fast-paced environment. Candidates should be able to work independently or as part of a team, demonstrate good judgement, and adhere to training materials

Qualifications

• Must have good oral and written communication skills in English and interpersonal skills.
• Detail oriented with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
• Strong organizational skills and sound judgement.

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly examine and grade donated goods.
• Effectively process goods to meet daily production goals.
• Pivot to multiple work areas to support daily production goals.
• Identify and quickly solve problems and/or seek management support.
• Communicate effectively with management and other team members.
• Promote and demonstrate teamwork with peers.
• Maintain a neat, clean, and organized work area at all times.
• Adhere to safety and security practices including reporting hazards and injuries.
