Job summary

Goodwill of North Georgia is seeking a diligent associate to thoroughly examine and grade donated goods for our Retail stores. You will process items quickly to meet daily production goals while following standard operating procedures.

The role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and strong communication within a fast-paced environment. Eligible candidates should be 18+ with a HS diploma or GED and forklift certification eligibility.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Must have good oral and written communication skills in English.
• Detail oriented with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to demonstrate sound judgement.
• Must be 18 years or older to become certified and licensed to operate a forklift.

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly examine and grade donated goods
• Effectively process goods to meet daily production goals
• Pivot to multiple work areas to support daily production goals
• Identify and quickly solve problems and/or seek management support
• Effectively communicate with management and other team members
• Effectively promote and demonstrate cooperation and teamwork with peers
• Consistently perform work tasks according to training playbooks, e-learning, and work instructions
• Maintain a neat, clean, and organized work area at all times
• Adhere to safety and security practices including reporting safety hazards and injuries to management
• Attend and complete all required trainings and meetings
• Perform other duties as assigned by management
