Job summary

Goodwill of North Georgia is seeking a team member to thoroughly examine and grade donated goods for resale in our Retail stores. You will process items quickly to meet daily production goals in a fast-paced environment.

This role supports training and operations while adhering to procedures. We offer weekly pay, PTO, a 25% employee discount, health/dental/vision coverage, uniforms, and access to free job skills training at Goodwill Career Centers.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Strong oral and written communication in English with good interpersonal skills.
• Detail oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to work independently as well as in a team.
• Strong organizational skills and sound judgement.
• Must be 18+ to operate a forklift; 16–17 not allowed to operate forklifts, balers or compactors.

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly examine and grade donated goods.
• Process goods to meet daily production goals.
• Pivot to multiple work areas to support production needs.
• Identify and quickly solve problems; seek management support.
• Communicate effectively with management and team members.
• Promote cooperation and teamwork with peers.
• Follow training playbooks, e-learning, and work instructions.
• Maintain a neat, clean, and organized work area.
• Adhere to safety and security practices; report hazards and injuries.
• Attend and complete required trainings and meetings.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
