Job summary

Goodwill of North Georgia is seeking a dedicated team member to thoroughly examine and grade donated goods for resale in our stores. The role requires processing items quickly to meet daily goals, with flexibility to pivot across work areas and assist teammates as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Must have strong communication skills in English.
• Detail oriented with ability to work in fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational and judgement skills.
• Must be 18+ to operate forklift (16–17 not allowed).

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly examine and grade donated goods.
• Process goods to meet daily production goals.
• Pivot to multiple work areas to support daily production goals.
• Identify and quickly solve problems and/or seek management support.
• Communicate effectively with management and team members.
• Promote cooperation and teamwork with peers.
• Follow training playbooks, e-learning, and work instructions.
• Maintain a neat, clean, and organized work area.
• Adhere to safety and security practices including reporting hazards.
• Attend and complete required trainings and meetings.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
