Job summary

AIT Worldwide Logistics is seeking a Domestic Lead to ensure efficient movement of shipments from origin to destination across airfreight, LTL and FTL. You will manage cartage processes through our in-house partner and support branch operations.

You will quote, track, and trace domestic freight daily, review routing queues, and assist in onboarding new staff. The role requires 5+ years in freight forwarding and SAP/AS400/CargoWise experience.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in Freight forwarding, domestic forwarding ground carriers, commercial airlines and cartage.
• 2+ years SAP, AS400 & CargoWise experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist Domestic Supervisor in managing department functions and coordinate with warehouse team.
• Quote, track, and trace domestic shipments moving on air/ground daily.
• Review OPS Routing queue and manage daily reports like milestones and dock check.
• Assist in escalation requests and research issues with employees; update processes.
• Participate in onboarding new team members and provide training and development.
