Job summary

Everforth ECS in Ft. Meade, MD seeks a Systems Engineer to support IL-5/IL6 programs in a DoD Mission Partner Enclave.

You will design, install, document, and maintain both physical and virtual network infrastructure, reporting to the Project Manager and coordinating with cyber, network, and cloud teams. The role requires US citizenship, TS/SCI eligibility, a STEM degree, and hands-on VMware expertise (ESXi, vCenter), plus AWS/Azure cloud experience.

Qualifications

• US Citizen
• Ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance
• Bachelor's in Computer Science, Information Systems, or STEM
• Hands-on experience with VMware in a production environment
• Experience with AWS and Azure cloud services
• 10+ years of experience administering Windows and Linux environments
• Experience with DISA STIG requirements
• Strong communication and documentation skills

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain information systems and enclave components
• Ensure compliance with DoD security requirements (STIGs)
• Engineer and maintain VMware ESXi, vCenter, and virtualization infrastructure
• Support VMware, VDI, and related environments
• Develop and maintain SOPs, CONOPS, and network diagrams
• Perform backups and security testing; participate in incident response
• Travel to data centers as needed and document findings
• Collaborate with project teams and provide knowledge transfer
