Job summary

IT Veterans is seeking a Systems Engineer to support DoD programs with CSfC networks, focusing on planning, design, implementation, sustainment, and troubleshooting of enterprise systems and virtualized environments.

You will work with Marine Corps and Navy customers, collaborating with SMEs and government stakeholders, and you must be able to work onsite at Camp Lejeune, NC with an active Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field from an accredited university.
• Active CompTIA Security+ certification.
• Active Secret Clearance.
• Experience supporting US Marine Corps garrison and tactical networks.
• Ability to work onsite in the Camp Lejeune, NC area.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering and sustainment support for classified and unclassified systems environments.
• Support planning, design, development, implementation, and optimization of multi-platform systems and infrastructure.
• Perform installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance of enterprise systems and virtualization technologies.
• Provide on-call and touch labor support for systems sustainment activities.
• Support performance analysis, monitoring, and capacity planning efforts.
• Configure and support Active Directory, domain controllers, DNS, DHCP, PKI integration, and VMware environments.
• Install and configure servers, hypervisors, virtual appliances, and operating systems.
• Support system hardening using DoD STIGs and SCAP scanning tools.
• Collaborate with SMEs, Program Managers, and government stakeholders.
• Support CONUS and OCONUS mission requirements as needed.
• Maintain accurate technical documentation and provide status updates to leadership.
