Job summary

ACCI International Inc. is seeking a Software License Management Specialist to support enterprise software asset management within a DoD environment.

You will track licenses, ensure compliance, and maintain inventories while delivering cost optimization analyses. Reporting to the Software License Management Manager, you will collaborate with IT, procurement, cybersecurity, and program stakeholders to maintain accurate licensing data and support lifecycle management.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret clearance required.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent IT/Business experience.
• ITIL Foundation certification.
• 5+ years in IT with software asset management or licensing.
• Experience with SAM platforms (Flexera, ServiceNow SAM, Snow License Manager).

Responsibilities

• Maintain software license inventories, entitlements and deployments.
• Track licensing across on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments.
• Support license compliance reviews, audits, renewals, and remediation.
• Maintain license data using SAM, ITSM, CMDB, and discovery tools.
• Identify unused or noncompliant software and recommend actions.
• Analyze licensing data to identify cost savings and optimization.
• Support procurement, renewals, vendor activities, and budget planning.
• Develop reports and dashboards on usage, compliance and renewals.
• Maintain audit-ready documentation per DoD, cybersecurity, FAR and DFARS.
