Job summary

Peraton is seeking an onsite IT Asset Manager for USAG-Ansbach in Germany to oversee DoD property, asset tracking, and license management for enterprise IT infrastructure. The role involves developing procedures, auditing asset data, and coordinating lifecycle replacements, with a focus on compliance and reporting.

The candidate will manage warranties, train staff, perform audits, and ensure DoD policy adherence.

Qualifications

• 7 years with AS/AA, 5 years with BS/BA; 3 years with MS/MA; or 9 years with no degree.
• U.S. Citizenship required.
• Ability to obtain Active DoD Secret clearance after background investigation.
• DoD Baseline Certification: CompTIA Security+ CE (IAT Level II).
• Must secure TESA immigration status in Germany before start date.

Responsibilities

• Manage DoD property book requirements supporting enterprise IT infrastructure.
• Develop, review, and maintain IT asset management procedures and system requirements.
• Account for IT hardware and software assets; inventory control, tracking, and reporting.
• Coordinate IT asset life cycle replacement activities, ensuring timely refresh and disposal.
• Track equipment warranties and manage software license issuance and compliance reporting.
• Train staff and customers on IT asset management procedures and supporting applications.
• Conduct internal audits on IT property accountability and asset management.
• Develop and implement corrective action plans to address audit findings and gaps.
• Lead process improvements to enhance efficiency, compliance, and service delivery.
• Ensure compliance with DoD policies and contractual requirements.
• Provide weekly and monthly status reports documenting work performed.
