Job summary
Serco is seeking a SME Software Engineer to support the AFLCMC/WAG programs at Wright Patterson AFB, OH. You will oversee software architecture for CI/CD pipelines, conduct MBSE-based requirements translation, and audit contractor configurations to ensure quality and interoperability.
The role requires a TS/SCI eligible clearance, a engineering master's degree and substantial DoD experience, with travel up to 10% and a track record in DevSecOps and agile software development.
Qualifications
- Active TOP-SECRET clearance with ability to obtain SCI/SAP.
- Master's Degree in an Engineering discipline with 20+ years DoD/government contractor experience.
- Minimum 3 years SAP or SCI experience within the last 5 years.
- Ability to travel up to 10% (CONUS)
Responsibilities
- Oversee software architecture for DoD contractors implementing CI/CD for prototypes, aircraft subsystems and support equipment.
- Translate operational user requirements into contract system requirements using MBSE to improve traceability.
- Audit DoD contractors for software configuration and verify quality accreditation.
- Review system design software architecture and interoperability requirements; evaluate test plans and data.
- Provide technical briefings and develop engineering strategies and evaluations; conduct contractor proposal evaluations.
