Job summary

SimVentions, Inc is seeking an experienced System Administrator to develop and implement Windows- and Linux-based engineering solutions within a government hosting facility. This on-site role requires work at the NAVAIR base and security clearances.

Candidates will deploy and maintain hardware, virtual machines, containers, and networks while ensuring backups, access control, and application support in line with DoD guidance and Agile planning.

Qualifications

• At least three years experience in similar system administration duties.
• Experience with RMF, STIG and ACAS scanning in government environments.
• Certification in Windows or Linux operating environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering solutions for government hosting needs and customers.
• Deploy and maintain physical and virtual hardware including VMs and containers.
• Perform routine maintenance and configuration changes on hosts.
• Install, configure and troubleshoot hardware and software on servers/workstations.
• Maintain system backups and disaster recovery plans.
• Manage user accounts and permissions and deploy software applications.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and provide customer guidance.
• Maintain security posture per DoD guidance and continuous monitoring.
